This was done for a very Dear Friend because she got married today. The wedding was just beautiful. Thank you for the invite Susan and Tony.

I backed the designer paper with a piece of card stock to give it some strength. I typed the date up and used the window punch. I used the stamps sets, Always, letterpress and live your dream. DP is ? sorry. Paper : very vanilla, brocade blue. Ink: Brocade blue, brown stazon, groovy guava. Accessories: Stickles, Brown satin ribbon(retired su) blue organdy is from Michaels crafts, topnote bigz die from SU.

ic159 and pearls, pearls and more pearls.

Pearls, pearls and more pearls. Do you think I got carried away with the pearls. It all started with the pearl for the center of the flower.

This was also inspired from today ic159 challenge. Can you tell which dress is the one that inspired me. It's pretty obvious I think. Click image for larger version Name: maximo6.jpg Views: 257 Size: 47.2 KB ID: 126541

Holiday Stamp a stack door prizes 2008

THese were done again for the holiday stamp a stack I hosted this weekend. We raffled of one each session. The last frame I did for a craft fair I'm doing this coming weekend. I made extras of the others too. I used Ski slope Designer paper on all of them. Stamps used were holiday classics, to you and yours. Other paper used was riding hood red,( one of Stampin ups incolors for the year) Accessories: Ridinghood red taffeta ribbon, baja stripped ribbon, old olive 5/8 grosgrain ribbon, chocolate satin ribbon, white taffeta ribbon, silver cording, due drops, cuttlebug dots template, dazzeling diamonds, bigshot diecut words, snowflake diecut. I thinkI covered everything. Thanks for stopping by. Terry

snowflake foam favors

These were favors for the holiday Stamp a stack I just hosted this past weekend. We used Stampin ups new snowflake diecut and glittered them up and added silver cording to make them an ornament.
Fun and easy. We made about 36. We used spray adhesive to make it go even quicker. TFL Terry

My Holiday Stamp a Stack cards

I hosted a Holiday Stamp a Stack this past weekend. I hosted it with my upline friend and this year it was at my house so I designed two and she designed 3. We did 5 sets of 4 each. The card above I designed using the new Bigshot die and you can find it here We used Daubers with craft white behind the snowflake. The size of the card was different too, it measures 3 1/4 by 5 1/2. I bought the envelope from the dollar store but they sell them at Staples too. The snowflake is White foam. Fun!! We also used stampin up's glue stick to stick the foam to the card then we went over the snowflake with the glue and sprinkled it with some bling(dazzeling diamonds). I used the white taffeta ribbon and the ski slope designer paper from stampin ups holiday mini. The sentiment is from the to you and yours holiday set from stampin up. TFL
This card above was one that I designed. I got the cuttlebug dot idea from Rainy from splitcoast. She used lovely as a tree . THe house set is called to you and yours and it's in stampin ups main idea catalog. I was so excited to use basic grey in a christmas card. I used Basic Grey for both Paper and Ink. I put it with stampin ups in color for the year called Riding Hood Red. Again I used it for both INK and Paper. I used Whisper white card stock and for accessories I used the cuttlebug dots template for snow. Lastly the ribbon is the taffeta Riding Hood Red.

Coming up soon. I'll be uploading the door prizes( Hoiliday decorated Frames) I made for the door prizes. THe Stamp a stack was a success. It was a long two days but fun all the same. THanks for stopping by. Terry

Here's my Virson of the Memory game. I saw someone last year do a Monster Match Memory game and when I saw this hostess set I couldn't resist doing one. I thought naming it Merry Match would be a fun name for it. I'm doing a craft fair and I made this plus to sell. I bought the tin at a local store that was going out of business. I got them for 27 cents each. bargin right. I hope anyway. This was really fun to make and I did five sets throughout one day. Sorry for the top picture and not being able to see the bottom part of the tin but I had a hard time not getting a shadow in the picture.

I hope you like. TFL~ Terry

Paper: Kiwi kiss, Holiday Designer paper, Whisper white, Baja Blue,

Ink: Red Robin, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Blue, close to cocoa,

Slate Project for customer

Whew, I'm done.
This took a while but I'm thrilled with the out come. This is only the second time I've ever stamped on slate and this time it worked out a ton better. This time I sealed the slate with a clear finish then I painted it with an ivory acrylic paint. I still have to write the customers name on it and it's still needs to dry more. I used craft ink to stamp and colored the flowers in using a blender pen believe it or not. The blender pen worked Great. TFL

Stamps: live your dream, sunflower from michaels, Eastern Influences,
Paper: none
Ink: craft and acrylic
Accessories: blender pens, slate, clear sealer,
Techniques: stamping on slate,

Yeah I got to do the ic144

It's a day later then I wanted but I was just thrilled I found time. I did this for the ic144. Click image for larger version Name: ledner3.jpg Views: 365 Size: 34.9 KB ID: 110652

My inspired picture was the top left picture. I borrowed this cute little owl from my sister and I had the background behind him from an expo I went to last year. Also I went with blush blossom just because I thought it flowed with the owl color. I got to use my new scallop punch from stampin up too. LOVE IT!!!! If you look close you'll see that I went over the eyes with a gel glaze pen to give them an embossed look. (It's hard to tell though at first. I used the dots template for the bg layer. It went with the owls eyes. I colored the owl using creamy caramel and blush blossom. The picture is soft and I wanted to keep my card soft too. This will be great to give someone for any kind of accomplishment. It would even be good for a new welcome card for a baby girl.

it was so nice to stamp again. I currently working on a custom slate piece. I really want to get to the featured stamper challenge today. Thak s for stopping by.

I'm still around

Hi Everyone,

I'm still around!!!

It's been a while since I posted and I just wanted to check in and let everybody know I'll be back stamping soon. Schools in and I'm thrilled. It was a great summer but I love routine like I'm sure most of us do so getting back into school will be great. Oh and I started a New Job too so I haven't been able to stamp anything lately. It's been 11 years since I've worked a real job so it's taking a little time for me to fit in the extras. (Like stamping) but I will so don't worry. (I'm addicted).

See you soon

sympathy for a friends family

I always get sad when I have to make these kind of cards but if you have to make them using these Verve stamp sets it'll work great. The Cross is the prettiest I've seen around. I just got a bunch of Julee's stamps. I'm looking forward to playing with them. This card is made from two of the Verve sets. ! is called Note of Prayer and the other is called Artful Elegance. You can find them here if you want to buy some for yourself.

This card got started because of the ic142 and this is the one it's based on. I changed the blue though to the sage because Verve sent me the pretty ribbon for an order thank you. How nice was that. My inspiration was the color and the the scroll leaves. I didn't use leaves but it's similar in my eyes.

She also has been tutoring my daughter this summer so I've started thinking of what to give her at the end. This may be the ticket.

This also fits as todays ic141.
