Ways to use it challenge at splitcoaststampers.com

Todays Challenge was ways to use staples. What fun. It has been sooooo long since I used staples in a design.

I stamped the main Gina K roses image on a piece of vellum cardstock. I did a scored frame with the staples in the corners to hold the vellum to the Designer paper then I again used the staples to hold down the ribbon.

Stamps: Gina K

The Stamps are from Verve Visual found here: www.vervevisual.com

How I got my Blog Name

Welcome everyone to my Blog!!! It's still under start up construction but I thought I'd start with posting how I came up with my blog name. I had so many different ideas for a name but this one won out. I was at a Dear friends house and Well she was wonderful enough to get me started. I talked a good talk of oh yes... I'll start the blog and then wouldn't. Thank you Val:)

Well I'm sure you've noticed that I love to Stamp. feel free to check out my slide show. So that's where Stampin came from. As for as Stylin, Well many years ago I used to Cut hair for a living. I loved the updos and Stylin part of it. So you can Style hair and you certainly can style cards and projects. So there you have it, that's where it came from and of course my dear friend Val who thought of it but it stuck because of everything else I just spoke of.

Thank you for checking in and have a great rest of your Sunday.

Earhart Designs!

Lsc150 for splitcoaststampers

Here's a card I did today. This for todays lsc150. I used cameo coral and ruby red as my two colors from the same color group. I used Chocolate and WW as my neutral colors, two accessories are ribbon and the CB hearts template. I picked cameo coral because I haven't used it for a long while.
I cut out a heart from a piece of paper and used it for a template for behind the heart bouquet.
Loved the way it turned out.
