mini convention project I hosted


Here 's my mini convention project. Everybody seemed to love it. They're magnets. I'm also going to make some to give away as thank yous for customers.

items used:
1. one sided flat marbles. I found at the dollar tree. 1.00 for 40. great deal.
2. Topnote die cut from Stampin up.
3. label punch and thank you stamp from Stampin up.
4. 3x5 cello bags.
5. magnets from Michaels crafts.
6. Velcro circles from Michaels crafts.
7. Butterfly is from martha stewart
8. Stamp set used is from Su too.

  1. i'm looking at the flat marbels and i'm not sure what is around them, or how they were stamped. They are awesome! Any info to complete would be great.

I stamped the flowers on white card stock and punched them out using a 1' circle punch then I ran them through my xyron face down and just stuck them to the flat side of the marble. used crystal effects to stick the magnet on and that's it. super easy and fun. Sorry I should have elaborated more on how I did them. I up loaded quick this time.

  3. Terry! I just found some of these flat marbles at a dollar store in Phillipsburg! I'm so excited to make these for teacher gifts. Thanks for the idea. :) It was my favorite project at the stamp camp - I'm so glad you changed last minute.

  4. Oh cool Michelle!!! I actually made up the rest from the camp which I sometimes don't and have 12 extras. I know I will use some of them for teachers and some for customers. Glad you had success finding them.
