Nameframe for a customer
This is for one of the Teachers at my Daughters school. It's for her New Grandson. I was told to use a sports theme for it. The Designer paper has all sports on it. It doesn't have any names of who's the dp is though. I bought it at a store that was going out of business. I can't even tell you it's name. The rest of the paper used was celery textured, only orange and Whisper white. THe Frame I got from a friend who got it at Wal-mart I think. I saw some really similar ones there the other day. Kim Thank you for giving me this frame in a pinch.
The sports set is a retired set from Stampin up' The star stamp came with it. It's a great set. Also I used headline alphabet and lexicon of love. For Accessories, I ran the grosgrain ribbon through my xyron to get it to stick and not be a mess to do. I always use Dimensionals to stick almost everything, just in case I need to reposition it. I can pull stuff up without it tearing anything. For colors I used the Blue frost spectrum pad from Stampin up', Only orange, close to cocoa, certainly celery, basic black. I used the computer for the date little Jason was born and mounted them on oval punches from Stampin up'. I also used the 1 1/4 circle punch to punch out the basket ball and the soccer ball. I used a circle template from my coluzzel to cut out the baseball. Lastly I used a chipboard star and sponged it using the blue frost spectrum pad.
I'm thrilled with the way this came out. Thanks for stopping by to look. Terry

Retiring information for Stampin up
Hi Friends,
I am forwarding the link for the list of stamps that are to be retired this year from the Stampin Up catalog. As usual, there will be many great stamp sets available in the new catalog (available Aug 1st), but if there is a stamp set that you have been wanting all year and it's on the list, you may want to think about it again. I’ll be holding a Mystery Hostess party on July 1st to give you all an early start on getting what you want before they’re all gone. I may do another after that too. The accessories list will be out soon so I’ll see how things go before I give you a second date. So be sure to check out the retired list here.
For those of you who don't know what a Mystery Hostess party is, well it's a party I throw from my computer or Telephone and with any size Stampin Up' order you place with me. I will raffle off the hostess earnings. Everybody who orders will win a prize. No one is left out. It's a win, win. The overall order will have to reach $150.00 though for me to order but that's usually not even an issue. So if you're interested feel free to contact me.
Hope you are all well, and staying cool!!

ic132 on splitcoaststampers
Here's more info on the ic132.
I used acetate which I love. So fun now that I know you need to use stazon to stamp on it. It'll never dry if you just use the white craft. Also after I stamped the circles in the white stazon I took daubers and dabbed them in the groovy guava and soft sky separately for all but two circles. Two circles I dabbed in both colors and got a muted green like color.
My recipe:
Stamps: live your dreams, great shapes(retired)
Ink: Groovy guava on top of the white stazon, same with the soft sky, white stazon, brown stazon for the inside.
Paper: Groovy guava, soft sky, acetate,

Monogrammed Tumbler for my friend Darla
Well it's been a really busy week which is good but tiring. We're taking a friend out tonight for dinner to wish her well. She's moving and I'm so sad. It was a tough one to make and of course I wish her well. I know I'll still see her but just not as often. We usually meet up on fridays for a walk and coffee. sometimes just a walk and most times It's just for an hour or so. It's just enough time though to catch up on things. I will truly miss it.
This is a Tumbler from Starbucks. I thought it fitting to use my like it a latte set. I used paper prints designer paper from stampin up. I stamped live your dream flowers and butterflies on it. I used Groovy guava ink. I wanted it to be a tone on tone. Then I stamped the mug and words from like it a latte using brown stazon. THen using my versamarker I colored in the mucha on top and used white embossing powder on top and embossed it. I embossed the D too. I colored in the straw with regal rose and lastly I used clear glaze emboss pens to go over the straw and the rim of the cup. It just gives it a little texture so it looks more real. I think anyway. It was fairly easy to do. Maybe it'll be a reminder of our talks and we'll stay in touch better. Thanks for stopping by: Terry

Another Name frame for a customer
I bought the frame at Wal-mart and used a smaller frame since the name was really small. I did a glittered oval scallop punch out for them. They Can put a picture there or leave it as is. When you lift off the back the one pair of flip flops are stuck to the back board. The flipflops are on using dimensionals so moving them would be easy enough if they wanted to put a picture but keep the flipflops on the frame too.
I ran the appricot back piece of card stock through my xyron and stuck the designer paper on then sprinkled the dazzling diamonds on to make it a glitter frame.
My Recipe is:
Stamps: Flipflops are from Michaels, natural beauty words, live your dream sentiment, Love from wonderful words.
Ink: Blue frost spectrum pad apricot appeal, certainly celery,
Paper, textured appricot appeal, brocade blue, dp is from creative imaginations,
Accessories: Fairytale ribbon, Diamond stickles, both oval punches, oval scallop punch, coluzzel ,
Thanks for stopping by: I've had a very Productive day so far. I hope it continues!! TFL

Gift set for customer
This is for a customer of mine. I've been doing a ton of stuff for her. I recently did a gift set similar for her older daughter's birthday. This gift set is for her younger daughter. I delivered them today. Here is the link to the part of my blog for how to make the flower that I did using the oval punches.
Here's the Tutorial on coaster gift boxes on splitcoaststampers. Mine is similer but I make mine into a pen/pencil holder. I do mine a little different. 1. I don't use modge podge I run my designer paper through my xyron and stick it to the coaster then I sand the edges smooth. 2. I only put two holes on each side of the coasters. 3. I use crystal effects from Stampin up to adhere it to the bottom. I do use the Crop a dial which they use too, It' is a must to make the holes in the chipboard. The last thing I do for making the box I cut two separate coasters half way down the center and then interlock them together and put them in the middle of the box. That will give you 4 spaces for the pens and pencils to be. I hope this will help you if you want to make one. Thanks for stopping by: Terry
Here's my recipe:

I've been Tagged
Dawn Mercedes of Amusing Musings & Things
tagged me. It looked like fun so read on if you will.
1) Ten years ago: I became a first time mom to My sweet preemie baby girl. My daughter Alexandra was almost 13 weeks early and weighed only 2lbs. It was a rough time but at the same time the most exciting time too. I learned alot about how strong I was and how secure my marriage was too. My husband was my rock and still is.
2) 5 things in todays ”to do”-list- : Well, today is a lot calmer then yesterday.
A. Today I will drop my daughter off to school. I do that every day because there aren’t any school buses until she gets to high school.(Just 4 more years to go!!!)
B. I’ll go for my daily walk and come home.
C. I’m in the middle of doing moving cards and a gift set of monogrammed cards for a customer so I’ll get busy doing them.
D. I do want to run to Michaels crafts to look for accessories For a name frame I’ll be working on for a different customer.
E. I have to put the dreaded laundry away at some point today. Not too exciting today.
3) Snacks I enjoy: I’m on Jenny Craig for Life, so for now I’m in love with their chocolate walnut brownie. It seems to be working. I am down 47lbs.
4) Things I would do if I was a millionaire: I would first go on a well needed vacation. Second I would throw a Hugh party and spoil some of my closest friends. Third I would really love to have a BMW dept free. Then the most important is, I will invest a lot into my Daughters college years. I’ll definitely spoil my Hubby some too.
5) Places I have lived:
1. Washington state(I was born there)
2. Carversville PA
3. Danboro PA
4. Flemington NJ
5. Frenchtown NJ. (Current)
Now...who will be next? Here are five: It's your turn girls to join the fun. I love your blogs and just wanted to share.
1. Sharon
2. Susan
3. Carolina

Candy Airplane
Here's a gift I did for a friend. I just found out from his wife that his birthday had passed . He loves Airplanes so I went on looking splitcoaststampers for airplane cards so I could at least make him a belated birthday card. I came across MCCFipps
gallery on splitcoaststampers with this idea. I didn't have any airplane stamps so I thought this would work nicely. I had to substitute the one stick of gum for a larger pack and the smarties base for a lifesavers pack. I used rubber bands to hold the gum and the lifesavers together. I also used some individual wrapped lifesavers for the wheels.
My recipe is:
Stamps: alphabits (retired from stampin up) , small sayings,
Paper: Designer paper outlaw stampin up', chocolate chip,
Ink: Brown stazon, computer ink,
accessories: both tag punches, window punch for the propeller, 1/4 inch circle punch, 1/2 inch circle punch, build a brad, brown gingham ribbon(non su) pop up glue dots and mini gluedots, xyron for attaching the ribbon, rubberbands, lifesavors, gum,
Technique: Airplaine
