THis was done for a gift for mom stamp camp I'm hosting next weekend. They are the door prizes. I also plan to make more for a few of my daughters teachers. They are really a pretty quick project. I got the idea from a fellow blogger called Chic n' scratch.

Monaggrammed teachers card

THis was done for a student Teacher that's been in my Daughters class this year. Friday is her last day so I made her a gift which I will be posting soon and this card for the4 children to sign. The kids call her Ms. D. YOu might have guessed that though from the D on the front. I just got the summer picnic designer paper from Stampin up and really like it so far. I know usually teachers apples are RED but I like the subtle effect of the green ones.

tlc166& Teacher appreciation card

This is was made for todays TLC166 Two Way Open Card
And I thought this would be a great Challenge card for a teacher appreciation card from the class. I'm the Class mom this year. I used the like it a latte set because My Daughters teacher LOVES coffee. I also made a clipboard for her teacher that I'll have the kids sign. That will be from the class too. I'll add the class picture for that too. I collected $ . We plan to get a group gift for her as well. This card is big and will have a ton of space for the kids to sign. Thanks for stopping by

FS64 on Splitcoaststampers

This was done for todays fs64.
The featured stamper challenge is when you get the ok to case a stamper choosen for that week. This week's featured stamper is Michelle AKA (Sf9erfan) on splitcoaststampers. I loved looking through Michelles gallery.
She has a great eye for designing. Here's what card of Michelles I picked. I don't own the touch of nature set so I just happen to get the Always set this week. I just cut the rubber as a matter of fact. I changed mostly everything only because I didn't have any of the exact items used. I took the bird from Michelles card and the layout. I did the piercing like she did and the cutting out of the bird. I needed a few mothers day cards too.

This is for todays ic125 on splitcoaststampers. It worked perfectly. The animals on the ic got me today. I needed to do a congratulations communion card for my niece and when I saw today ic challenge It inspired me to use this animal stamp. I know there's no hippo's in the ic piece but seeing the ic piece I immeditily went looking for an animal stamp. I love the way it turned out. I went too off the colors of my sisters invite for my niece found here. I also did some scoring with this card to separate the dry embossing with the stamped image. Love that look. I drew a cross in the balloon but it smeared for the watercoloring I did. It's not real noticiable I hope. Thanks for stopping by Have a great Saturday. Terry

This is a custom design I did for a Customer. I did 50- 50th birthday invitations. I had to dig out my stamp- a- ma- jig too to get the 50 to be in the same place on each card. I must confess I was a little rusty but it didn't take long to get the hang of it again. I used my editing program to block off the privite info on them. I delivered them and the customer seemed very pleased. Thanks for stopping by Terry

The Karma Garage write up

Here's a picture of where I just had my very first Tahi yoga message yesterday. It's at a place called, The Karma Garage. Be sure to check out her blog. Shes a very inspirational writer too. It'll be a very cool read. My good friend Val is a Omyoga certified, Tahi yoga massage trained, physical therapy licensed. I've never had a Tahi yoga message before and it was so Great. I felt very relaxed, which I needed to feel very badly. I really just wanted to fall asleep but I had to drive home first.

To take time for ourselves is very rare. I totally recommend doing it for yourself more. I just may have to. Thanks Val

Pink poodle invite grouping.

Here's the whole grouping of 5th birthday invites I did for a customer. I did 15 invites plus I Always like to give a thank you gift, so I gave them a complimentary decorated front notebook and pen. It's the one down on the right . What little girl doesn't like writing in her own personilized note book. I know my Daughter still does.

I think a lot comes from the presentation so I did a matching Cuttlebug template thank you front for the bag and prettied it up with some ribbon. I dropped these off today and the customer seemed very pleased.

This is another card for todays tlc162 . The challenge was to do Paper Tole on a card, but the image could not be a flower. I actully did this for a customer for her Daughters 5th birthday. I only had the poodle stamped on the front. After seeing todays challenge I couldn't resist using for the little lady. It really adds that extra something to the card. I'm thrilled!! TFL

This was done for todays tlc162. Patience, Grasshopper.... What a fun challenge!! The challenge was to do Paper Tole on a card, but the image could not be a flower. I just got this set and knew it would work perfectly.I'm not a lover of cutting but This pear was a snap to do. I cut it twice actully. Once so I could do the masking and then the second to use for the challenge. I'm becoming a pear fan for sure

This was done for todays ic121. It was to find something in you home and get inspired from it. At first I was like oh man what can I pick and so many things came to mind. I was having trouble picking. My mind was going a mile a minute. what can I pick ummmmm? I decided to go get my shower and think on it some more. Well when I got to the bathroom I Immediately knew what I wanted to pick. The Shower Curtain!!!!!! Brilliant I thought. hehe!!!

Girl birthday card with a scallop flair

Here's another Birthday Card I did up yesterday for a party my Daughter went to. I used the same simple layout and it was a super quick card to make. The Cuttlebug was definitily my friend this week. I wipped the white craft pad over the dry embossing part to make it pop. It's super easy.

A Thomas the Train Birthday Card

This is for my Daughters friends brother. His birthday party is today. His sister was allowed to invite one of her friends to come and so my daughter accepted happily. This was a really quick card to make. I didn't have alot of time. The birthday boy Loves Thomas the Train. I know this because I babysat him and he told me all about it. I had a movie that was still around from when my Daughter was little. I scaned the cover and just cut Thomas out. Doesn't it kind of look like he's moving on a track. Also, I wipped the white craft pad over the dry embossing part to make it pop. It's super easy.

This was done for todays sketch challenge 169 on splitcoaststampers.com I've been on a roll with getting my mothers day cards done and it's even early. I've been really getting into customizing. I've been loving this lovely letters alphabet. Don't you think It's perfect for monogramming. The F stands for FAY. This card matches a clear envelope brag book I'm giving her too.

I flipped the sketch so I could use the Happy Mothers day stamp. I also dug out my houndstooth Background set. Wow it's been a very long time since I've used that. I thought it went with the designer paper I used. Again what do you think?

I went crazy with the black gingham, just a little. I had it going all sorts of ways. so fun!! I really wanted to make my Mom a Monogrammed Mothers Day card. I Loved using these colors. I don't have Basic Grey paper so I used basic black. Also I took my white craft ink over the CB tamplate to make it stand out more.

Some note book spicing up!!

Here are two fun note books w/pen that I bought at Michaels. They were just a plain front w/no frills at all. I jazed them up with my two Easter sets from Stampin up. the top one is called a good egg (too cute). Brag book and Journal for a moms night out

Good Morning!!! I had such a productive weekend. I'm gearing up for a moms night out this Friday. I'm going as a Vendor and I've been a busy bee preparing. The two projects above I plan to use at the event.

#1 is a Journal I bought at Michaels dollar spot and I'm going to be using it to have people sign in when they stop by my table. I also have a clear jar full of jelly beans that I'll have them wright their guess down on the journal too.

#2 is a matching Photo Album that I'll display my custom design photos in. It'll sit right next to the Journal. That's why I decided to make them match. The E stands for Earhart in Earhart Designs. THis is for the inspiration challenge ic118 on splitcoaststampers. My fave of all the challenges. THis is a front of an address book. I needed to make something to add for a door prize I'm donating and I got inspired from todays challenge right away. The swirls in Barouque Motifis. The style from that set fits I think anyway. Where I got the blue I'm not sure. I just wanted to add a slash of it. TFL

Believe it or not but this picture is only a half mile from my house. It's the bridge that leads from Frenchtown Nj to Pa. It's such a pretty place to live. For my Daughters Coahes

I was approched by my Daughers Basket ball team to make the cards for the Coaches. I decided to do the cards just a little different from eachother. The one looks like the man in the dp (designer paper) is dribbling and the other looks like the basket ball is going into the net. That's what I was my hoping for anyway. I don't have a basket ball stamp(image that) I've always borrowed my sisters in the past so I used my cuttlebug dry emboss folder called bubbles. I ran the cardstock through my big shot(diecut machine) and punched out a circle then drew the lines on with my stampin up black marker. What do you think? TFL~

A frame for a friend

This frame was for a dear friend who turned 40. This was her gift. She had a big bash to Celebrate. She has a Yoga business above her garage and this is her business name. Dear Val once again, "Happy Birthday".

The story behind the felt swirls: Originally I bought a beautiful black felt scroll design. that would go accross the frame and when I went to use it, I took off the tape backing it stuck together and was ruined. I was so bummed but I decided to go back to the store and get another but not take off the tape backing this time. Needless to say, they were all out. Bummed again but just as I was leaving the woman at the counter mentioned trying the die cutting some black felt. I was able to buy the felt from them and use their die cut machine. Happy once again:) TFL~

A Name Frame for me!!!

Well I finally did it!!!! I made a name frame for myself. I'm always so busy making things for others that I don't take the time to make myself things. I guess I can't say that anymore now huh.
I started doing more custom work too this year and with trying to get Earhart Designs going more I decided to do up some postcards to hand out. This frame will be on the front of my postcards.
I'm also involved with my daughters school PTA who's hosting a moms night out in March. They're having home business based moms come as vendors so I signed up and I'm going as Earhart Designs. I will showcase my name frame there too. TFL~

A combo challenge on splitcoaststampers

This was done for the color challenge154 today and I thought the colors would work perfect to do the technique challenge from yesterday. The tlc156 was to make This envelope pouch. Making this pouch was a blast. I have a workshop coming up and I just might work it into that as well.

Stamps: Happy everything

Ink: Pumpkin pie, certainly celery, orchard opulence. Black was my neutral color

Paper: Whisper white, certainly celery

Accessories: White envelope, scran wrap for BG of envelope, Oval scallop punch from mauvy, grosgrain ribbon, primas, stickles and build a brad from Stampin up and last I used the computer for the easter letters. I couldn't find my small letter stamps.

Featured Stamper # 54

This was for todays Featured stamper challenge on splitcoaststampers. This is a great challenge to do because you get to case an Awesome stamper. Todays FS was Betty aka gbedwright on splitcoaststampers. She has a wonderful talent and I really enjoyed going through her gallery. It was so hard to pick just one but that's all time would allow me today.

I just love this set. When I went looking through Betty's gallery I spotted her card right away. I really loved that she used this bird for a baby card and I will be sure to use it for that in the future. I didn't need a baby card so I changed it to be a birthday card. Other things I changed were the designer paper, the colors, the sentiment, the center strip and the flowers in the corners.

ic115 on splitcoaststampers

This was for the IC115 challenge at splitcoaststampers. Here's the inspiration piece picture. My inspiration from the picture was to use the bird somehow and the colors. I added in the stripes too by adding ribbon.

I also want to welcome SmilynStef. She's our New Hostess with the mostess and I want to say so long to kthaman, I'll miss your wonderful picks for the challenge. Best of luck. The ic is one of my Favorite challenges of the week and I usually can't resist playing.

My Recipe:

Stamps: spring solitude with wheel to match from Stampin up, I used the weathered bg from stampin up to make the tree.

Ink: Chocolate chip I used for the tree and branch and the bg on the choc chip cs. really rust, garden green I used on the bird plus the garden green on the branch.. I used the garden green over the choc chip to make it look darker some., brown stazon was used for the sentiment because it's darker, brown micron marker for the line down the side of the tree, and last white craft for the bg.

Paper: Creamy Caramel, Very Vanilla, Chocolate chip.

Accessories: brads from Miichaels crafts, chocolate chip thin grosgrain ribbon now retired from Stampin up and for the piercing I used an eraser with a stick pin. I used my fiskers score blade for the scored frame and the scoring along the bottom of the card, dotted ribbon is from michaels crafts too. I used my thin wheel for the bg and lastly I used my dimentionals to raise the picture up from the base.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this isn't at all as good as Chocolate would be but I'm class mom for my DD and they are having a Valentines Breakfast party and I thought Fruit would work nicely. I almost dipped the strawberries in chocolate but our school passed this rule that if the first ingreadent is sugar then we can't have it at the school. Bummer huh. I know it's better for the kids but it's a hard rule to get used to. I'm glad my DD's teacher went with a Breakfast party .It did make it easier. Have a Great Day and TFL~

Well the the calm after the storm is here.

Well the the calm after the storm is here. I hosted an all Occasion Stamp A Stack this past week and things are very calm today. I still have some things to catch up on but I'm not feeling rushed and I think I might have come down from the natural high I was on.My SU upline Chrys and I hosted the SAS together. We really work very well together. We had 32 people come between the two sessions and we were definitily hopping both days. WHEW! We did 4 sets of 4 All Occasion cards. I Design two, one was an Adult Birthday and the other was a Thinking of you/Sympathy and Chrys Design two, hers were a Kids Birthday and a Thank you. There were a total of 16 cards made. Chrys did the favors. We did the pin wheels using the scallop punch and putting a peppermint patty in the middle and I did the door prizes which were coaster calendars. We put a red circle label on the bottom of 2 of the patties and whoever picked the favor with the red dot won the door prize. We raffled off 2 each session. Door Prizes from the Stamp A Stack I hosted

Here's the three door prize choices I did. It's a coaster calendar. I got the coasters form http://stamponthis.com/. For the one in the middle I took two square coasters and covered both sides with a piece of 4x4 Spring Silhouettes DP. I ran the Dp through my xyron to make them stick. I sanded the sides with my Stampin up sanding block. and used my crop-a-dial to make the holes for the ribbon to go through. I found the calendar info here: 2008 Calendar

Ink: Green Stazon, Prisma pencils for the flower top, Elegant Eggplant
Accessories: Elegant Eggplant grosgrain ribbon, Groovy Guava Stitched ribbon, 4x4 square chipboard, crop-a-dial, "2008 calendar(see above) and crystal effects over the flower to give it a raised look.

Stamp A Stack Cards

Here's a close up of the cake!!

These are the SAS Cards I designed. The first one is the Adult Birthday. I decided on making it a feminine card this time around. I used the Eat cake set from Stampin up and to make it look more Feminine I used the faux shaving cream technique on the cake part.
I got these instructions from Beth the host on splitcoaststampers. It was from the tlc110 we did a while back. Thank you Beth.
Here is how to do it:
Ink up a solid stamp, either with your brayer or just by tapping it on the ink pad. Take a small stamp (1/2" to 1") and touch it to the inked surface of the solid stamp and then twist. Repeat the touch and twist motion all over the solid stamp. "Huff" (breathe) on the solid stamp to remoisten the ink if necessary and then stamp it on your cardstock. The result is a beautiful mottled look.Variation: ink up the smaller stamp with a contrasting color before touching/twisting. This will introduce another color into the swirls. I also used the crystal effects, I made a line going through the center of the cake and put micro beads on the top. What a cool look. I was really pleased the way it turned out. lastly I want to tell you about the scoring I did too. I took the White piece and using my fiskers cutter. Using the scoring attachment I scored 1/4 inch all the way around the CS to make it look like a frame I then did my paper piercing in the corners. I also did the scoring on the bottom of the card. The lines are 1/4 inch apart.


The Second card is the Thinking of you one I did. This one is really an easy card to put together. I tapped off the leaves stamp and then stamped the flower on top. I watercolored in the flowers using the blender pen. to Make the vase, I took Stampin up large oval punch and after I punched out the oval I cut off the bottom of the oval to make it flat and then used the ticket punch on the top. Last I sponged all over it to give it a real look. I was really plesed with this one too..

paper: Groovy Guava, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper white.
Inks: Elegant Eggplant, Groovy Guava, White craft for the BG on the base part of the card.
Accessories: Elegant Eggplant grosgrain ribbon, micro beads, crystal effects, dimensionals, Score blade from my fiskers cutter and a 1/8 circle punch.
Technique: Faux shaving cream, scoring and paper piercing.

Inspiration Challenge 113 on Splitcoaststampers

This was done for todays ic113 at Splitcoaststampers. It was a Beautiful living room. The soft colors were my inspiration. I just love this embrace life set. I've used it a ton. This also fit the SC161 challenge this week.

Ways to use it challenge at splitcoaststampers.com

Todays Challenge was ways to use staples. What fun. It has been sooooo long since I used staples in a design.

I stamped the main Gina K roses image on a piece of vellum cardstock. I did a scored frame with the staples in the corners to hold the vellum to the Designer paper then I again used the staples to hold down the ribbon.

Todays SC161 Challenge on splitcoaststampers

This was done for todays sc161 on splitcoaststampers. I just got this set from Verve Visual and wanted to use the wild Thing stamp so bad. I decided to make this card for my DH. It's a Little early but now I'll be ahead of the game right???
I got some fun papers at a super scrapbooking store. The store is called Memory Lane Ink. and it's about 45mins from me so I don't get there half as much as I would like. Fun, Fun store.
